2 arrested in connection to Bloomington robbery where business owner injured
Two men have been arrested in connection to a robbery that injured the owner of Penn Lake Roast Beef in Bloomington.
The Bloomington Police Department said 20-year-old Devon Dwayne Reginald Glover was arrested Wednesday and is being held in the Ramsey County Jail on an unrelated charge.
Marshawn Michael Davison, 19, of Columbia Heights, was also arrested Wednesday in connection to the incident. He is in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.
Bloomington police looking for 2 suspects in armed robbery attempt that left business owner shot
According to a release from the city of Bloomington, two men entered Penn Lake Roast Beef on June 16 and confronted the owner in an apparent attempted robbery.
During the confrontation, the owner was shot in his upper body. The owner, identified as Kevan Tran, remained in the hospital as of Thursday afternoon.
A GoFundMe set up for Tran has raised just over $52,000 as of Thursday afternoon.
