West St. Paul municipal pool to remain closed this season due to COVID-19

Those in West St. Paul will have to find alternate ways to beat the summer heat with the announcement Wednesday that the municipal pool won’t be opening this season.

In a social media post, city officials said, "After many discussions regarding social distancing, sanitizing, capacity and cost, we simply could not safely make it work in the current COVID environment. We hope next year will be a different story."

However, officials reminded residents that the Harmon Park splash pad is open from 1-6 p.m. daily.
