2 Red Lake men charged with child sex abuse
Two men accused of child sex abuse on the Red Lake Indian Reservation are facing federal charges, the Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Friday.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Keith Ehrich, 38, and Kory Lussier, 24, were arraigned Friday in U.S. District Court. Both face one count each of sexual abuse of a minor and abusive sexual contact with a child. Lussier is also charged with aggravated sexual abuse of a child.
Ehrich allegedly was knowingly engaged in the sexual abuse of a minor between August 2017 and Oct. 11, 2020, according to the indictment against him.
The allegations of sexual abuse against Lussier stretched over six years, from Aug. 2, 2014, to Sept. 20, 2020.
The charges against Ehrich and Lussier stem from investigations conducted by the Red Lake Department of Public Safety and the FBI Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force.
