MDH: Flu activity remains very low

Influenza activity remains very low across Minnesota and the country, according to the Minnesota Department of Health’s latest flu activity report.
Zero new deaths, hospitalizations and flu-related outbreaks were reported in the past week, the report states.
So far, a total of five deaths, 37 hospitalizations, five long-term care outbreaks and four school outbreaks have been reported this flu season, according to MDH.
Flu activity levels this season are far lower than in past years.
