Agent: CB Mackensie Alexander returning to Vikings
After leaving the Vikings following the 2019 season for a 1-year, $4 million deal with Cincinnati, cornerback Mackensie Aleander is returning to Minnesota. It’s believed to be a 1-year deal, with the money unknown. His agent tweeted the news:

Alexander was the Vikings’ second-round choice in 2016 out of Clemson, and he spent four seasons in Minnesota.
He appeared in 55 games and started 10 with the Vikings, recording 103 tackles, two interceptions, 21 pass breakups and 4.5 sacks.
Last season in Cincinnati, Alexander made 10 starts and appeared in three others. He totaled 47 tackles, one interception and six pass breakups.
Alexander knows Mike Zimmer’s defense incredibly well. He was the Vikings’ main slot corner for most of his first go-around.
