COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 769 new cases, 1 fewer death reported Sunday

Wisconsin health officials reported 769 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday, bringing the state’s total to 36,448 positive cases.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported zero new COVID-19 deaths, and actually dropped the state’s overall total to 820, down one from Saturday’s reported total.

The DHS said, as of Sunday, 653,352 people have tested negative.

Of all cases in Wisconsin, 3,824 people have required hospitalization.

In total, 78% of patients have recovered, meaning 30 days passed since the onset of symptoms or their diagnosis or their release from isolation was documented.
