UPDATE: 2 arrested in fatal Summit-University neighborhood shooting, victim identified

UPDATE:
On Thursday, the St. Paul Police Department announced two arrests have been made in the shooting that happened Wednesday night.
According to police, Tazman A. Jones-English, 21, has been arrested on probable cause for murder, while Quincy R. Adams has been arrested for aggravated assault.

Two arrests have been made in relation to last night’s shooting death.
Tazman A. Jones-English, 21, was arrested for Murder Quincy R. Adams, 26, was arrested for Aggravated Assault.
The investigation is on going & updates will be posted here when available.
Police later identified the victim as 25-year-old Bajuan Davon Adams.
The investigation remains ongoing.

The victim in yesterday’s shooting on Concordia Ave has been identified as Bajuan Davon Adams, 25, of St. Paul.
The investigation into his death is ongoing and no other updates are available.
Police in St. Paul are investigating a homicide Wednesday night.
Sgt. Mike Ernster said during a news conference the scene was a very "raw" and "emotional."
"One that reminds us that a family is grieving tonight, so are friends," Ernster said.
Police say at about 5:45 p.m., officers responded to Concordia Avenue, just west of Western Avenue North, on a report of a shooting. The caller reported a person was struck and lying in the street.
Upon arrival, officers found a good Samaritan (a nurse) giving aid to the shooting victim, with a crowd gathered. St. Paul Fire and paramedics arrived on scene to help the victim, but the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
While aid was being provided to the victim, officers noticed a gray, four-door sedan driving away from the scene at a high rate of speed. A pursuit followed by police and the vehicle was shortly thereafter located crashed at the intersection of Marshall Avenue and Chatsworth Street N.
A passenger from that vehicle was located and brought to police headquarters for questioning. What role, if any, the vehicle and its occupants played in the shooting is still under investigation.
A short time later, a second gunshot victim arrived at Regions Hospital in a private vehicle. Police say that person is being treated for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. Authorities believe the male was injured during the shooting and officers are currently interviewing the person.
Both the shooting and crash scenes have been secured to protect evidence, and homicide investigators are looking for witnesses, evidence and anything else that can help them find the person or people that pulled the trigger.
