4 in custody after woman found dead in Bloomington hotel
Four people are in custody after a woman was found dead in a Bloomington hotel earlier this week.
Bloomington Police said officers responded to a report of an unresponsive woman in a room at La Quinta on Nicollet Avenue at about 11:45 a.m. on July 12. Officers arrived and determined the woman had been dead for some time and showed visible signs of trauma.
The department said an autopsy revealed the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body. She was identified as 39-year-old Jennifer Ann Swaggert, of Minneapolis.
On July 15, police arrested 39-year-old Trimeanna Nicole Williams on probable cause second-degree homicide in connection to Swaggert’s death.
Bloomington Police said three juveniles — two 17-year-old boys and one 17-year-old girl — are also in custody on probable cause second-degree homicide.
