Semi carrying batteries rolls over in Eden Prairie, hazmat responds

A semi rollover on an I-494 ramp in Eden Prairie has prompted a hazmat response.

The rollover occurred on the ramp from the interstate to Highway 212.

Authorities say the semi was carrying a load of batteries and that battery acid began to leak from the truck.

As of 8 a.m., the ramp remained closed, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
