Woman in critical condition following stabbing in Minneapolis

A woman is in critical condition after a stabbing in Minneapolis late Thursday night.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, at about 11:53 p.m. officers responded to a person down in the area of Nicollet Avenue and East Grant Street.
Officers found a woman with a stab wound. The suspect had fled the area, according to authorities.
Police believe an argument led up to the stabbing.
The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center and is currently in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
