2 shot at Peavey Park in Minneapolis

Officials with the Minneapolis Park Police say two people were injured in two shooting incidents at Peavey Park that appear to be related.
Police said the incidents occurred around 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
Officers first responded to the reports of a ShotSpotter activation. When police arrived, they found a woman who suffered a gunshot wound. She was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.
A short time later, a man was dropped off at Children’s Hospital with a gunshot wound. The man was later transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.
There is no word on the status of their injuries.
