Building, farm equipment destroyed in Paynesville fire

A building and farm equipment were destroyed Monday afternoon in a fire in Paynesville.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a reported fire at a residence on County Road 34 near Cedardale Road at about 1:58 p.m.
The property owner reported hearing a "whoosh" from inside her home before seeing flames from an equipment barn outside.
Paynesville Fire and Rescue responded to extinguish the flames. However, the building and farm equipment inside were a total loss.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire.
