2 children, 1 adult airlifted to hospital after Crow Wing County ATV crash
Three people, including two children, were airlifted to a hospital after an ATV crash in Crow Wing County.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report of an ATV crash on a trail east of State Highway 6, south of Outing, at about 9:54 a.m. Friday.
Authorities determined a four-seat, side-by-side model was traveling when it struck a tree off of the trail.
The driver was a 46-year-old man, the front passenger was a 46-year-old man, and the rear passengers were a 9-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl, all from Omaha, Nebraska.
According to the sheriff’s office, all parties were wearing seat belts and helmets, and all suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. However, three occupants, including the two children, were airlifted to hospitals.
The crash remains under investigation.
