Authorities investigating Crow Wing County bank robbery, ask for public’s help
Authorities in Crow Wing County are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a bank robbery that occurred Friday morning.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report of an armed robbery in progress at Deerwood Bank, Garrison Branch.
The lone suspect is described as a white man with gray to white hair. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a hat, and is believed to have been picked up by a person driving a white sedan. The vehicle was last seen headed south of Garrison on Highway 169.
No other descriptions were provided.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money and is believed to be armed.
