Victim in Big Lake homicide identified, suspect to appear in court on Monday
The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office provided an update Friday on a Big Lake homicide that happened Thursday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Rosalie Ellen Johnson, 62. Johnson was found inside the house where she lived with her husband and son. The medical examiner needed dental records to confirm that Johnson was the person her husband had found deceased after returning to their home Thursday morning.
Authorities investigating homicide in Big Lake, 1 arrested
Johnson’s son, 20-year-old Eric Jordahl, was arrested at the home without incident. He is expected to make his first court appearance Monday.
Investigators on Friday continued to gather evidence at the residence where the incident occurred, a house on the 1800 block of Golf Street.
