COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 590 new cases, 1 additional death

Wisconsin health officials reported 590 new cases of COVID-19 Monday, bringing the total number of positive tests in the state to 49,417 since the pandemic started.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported one additional death, which brings the state total to 893.

The state also reported 4,420 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic began.

As of Monday, DHS says 823,905 people have tested negative for COVID-19.

More than 78% of COVID-19 cases in the state of Wisconsin have recovered thus far.
