3-year-old dies in apparent drowning in Otter Tail County

A 3-year-old died after an apparent drowning in Otter Tail County Friday afternoon.

According to a release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, just before 2:15 p.m. Friday, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a call that a three-year-old had been pulled unconscious from Eagle Lake.

Three people at the scene started CPR before authorities arrived, the sheriff’s office said.

The child was transported via Life Link helicopter to a hospital in the metro where the child died, according to authorities.
