Severe thunderstorm warnings remain under effect for a number of southern Minnesota counties.
A warning was in effect for Olmsted and Dodge counties until 8 p.m.

Another warning was issued for Mower County. That warning was in effect until 8:15 p.m.
A number of special weather statements have been put in place for counties throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A severe thunderstorm watch has also been put into effect for a number of Wisconsin counties as well.
Earlier in the day, tornado warnings were also issued for Blue Earth and Waseca counties.
