Temperatures in the 90s to remain through Wednesday

Minnesotans will want to stay hydrated and cool as much as possible Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures continue to rise.

According to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl, temperatures could reach the mid-90s during the day Tuesday. A mostly sunny sky in the Twin Cities is likely.

The mercury will only continue to rise Wednesday, with temperatures reaching the upper 90s.

Dahl warned the warm conditions that are expected can cause dehydration and heat exhaustion, and reminded people to take precautions.

Temperatures will drop again Thursday as storms are expected through the weekend, Dahl said.
