Coyote spotted on University of St. Thomas campus
A coyote was reportedly spotted on the University of St. Thomas's St. Paul campus Monday night.
According to the university's Public Safety division, the coyote was observed to the west of Grace and Cretin residence halls, on the university's south campus.
"The animal was not aggressive and ran away when clapped at," according to Public Safety.
Those who encounter the animal and notice it acts in an aggressive way are asked to call animal control at 651-266-1100.

Overnight, officers observed a coyote to the west of Grace/Cretin Residence Halls.
The animal was not aggressive and ran away when clapped at.
