Department of Education Commissioner discusses next steps in learning practices during COVID-19 pandemic

KSTP is focusing on education this week.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, students around the country have been distance learning, specifically in Minnesota.

And it’s been a struggle for some.

However, teachers are looking at different options, including a hybrid style of learning, which would combine classroom time with distance learning.

KSTP’s Brandi Powell sits down with Minnesota’s Education Commissioner Mary Cathryn Ricker to discuss what’s ahead this summer and fall.
