Victim of stabbing outside Ramada Inn in Plymouth expected to be OK

A male victim is expected to be OK after having been reportedly stabbed in the back early Thursday morning in Plymouth.

According to the Plymouth Public Safety Department, officers responded to the rear parking lot of a Ramada Inn along Annapolis Lane North at about 2:39 a.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing in the area.

Upon arrival, officers found the male victim in the hotel lobby. Paramedics arrived and took the victim to North Memorial Health Hospital. He is expected to be OK.

A preliminary investigation indicated the male victim was taking items to his vehicle when the woman who was accompanying him confronted him in the parking lot, which was where the victim was reportedly stabbed in the back.

There is no threat to the public, officers stated. The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information has not yet been made available.
