COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 249 new cases, 1 new death

Wisconsin health officials reported 249 new cases of COVID-19 Monday, bringing the state’s total to 25,068 positive cases.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported one new COVID-19 death, increasing the state’s total to 745.

The DHS said, as of Friday, 466,634 people have tested negative.

Of all cases in Wisconsin, 3,231 people have required hospitalization.

In total, 78% of patients have recovered, meaning 30 days passed since the onset of symptoms or their diagnosis or their release from isolation was documented.
