1 injured in Minneapolis shooting

The Minneapolis Police Department states a shooting happened Wednesday evening in the Near North neighborhood.
Police spokesperson John Elder says one person has injuries not considered to be life-threatening from the incident.
Elder noted a car had also crashed into a utility pole nearby that expanded the scene, but the crash was unrelated to the shooting.
There is no other information at this time.
