Mondelez Global recalling limited quantity of Ritz Cheese Cracker Sandwiches due to mislabeled packaging

Mondelez Global LLC has announced a voluntary recall of a limited quantity of Ritz Cheese Cracker Sandwiches family size products.

The recall was announced because the outer packaging indicates that the product is the cheese variety, while the individually wrapped product contained in the package is the peanut butter variety.

The outer carton does provide an allergen advisory statement indicating that the product may contain peanuts, however, the full outer packaging is labeled cheese.

The product being recalled is the family size variety sold in a 21.6 oz. carton. The retail UPC on the carton is 0 44000 03826 7 and the best when used by dates are 18SEP20, 20SEP20, 28SEP20, 29SEP20, 30SEP20 01OCT20 or 02OCT20.

No injuries or illness has been reported at this time.
