1 injured in Minneapolis shooting
The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person injured early Saturday morning.
According to Minneapolis Police Director John Elder, the shooting happened at 1:38 a.m., officers responded to a report and a ShotSpotter activation of shots fired at 21st and Franklin.
While the officers were en-route, they received a call from an adult male stating that he was shot.
Officers arrived and provided aid to the victim. He was later transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The police are currently investigating the incident. More information is expected to come out at a later time.
