Stabbing at Owatonna Walmart leaves man hospitalized; suspect in custody

An Owatonna man is in the hospital after a stabbing Saturday morning at a Walmart.
The Owatonna Police Department said officers responded to a report of a stabbing just before 10 a.m. at the Walmart at 1130 Frontage Road W.
The victim was identified as a 37-year old man from Owatonna. He was taken to the Owatonna Hospital and then transferred to another medical facility for treatment. His condition is unknown, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
The suspect in the stabbing, a 20-year-old Owatonna man, was arrested without incident, according to police.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
