Local dog grooming business receives visit from Rep. Angie Craig on first day of reopening

Minnesota Rep. Angie Craig visited a local dog grooming business Tuesday on their first day reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Craig was joined by her dog Summitt on a trip to Pawlished Pets Grooming in Eagan. 

Tuesday was the first day the shop opened since the COVID-19 pandemic hit Minnesota. Craig dropped her pup off for a curbside bath.

"This is going to be an important first step to make sure we get back to normal here over the course of time," Craig said.

Craig also said she believes Gov. Tim Walz has taken the right balance to help businesses while keeping the public's health in mind.
