Landen, the boy who was thrown from a third-floor balcony at Mall of America last April, celebrated his 6th birthday on Friday, according to a post from his family on his GoFundMe page.
"Happy 6th birthday Landen! We love you so very much!!! The kisses and prayers of gratitude are going to be abundant today!!!!!" the post read.
The family also thanked everyone who supported him and his family through the recovery process.
"We could not feel more gratitude for all the prayers, financial support, cards, gifts, meals, the life saving help from all the first responders, and the exceptional medical care given to us with such incredible compassion," the post read. "God has used you all to be the hands and feet of Jesus to help us all heal!"
Supporters have donated more than $1 million to Landen and his family through the GoFundMe page.
According to a previous update posted in November, Landen was "walking perfectly" after going through physical therapy at an inpatient clinic. He was moved out of intensive care in August.

19-year sentence for man who threw 5-year-old over Mall of America balcony
Emanuel Aranda, the man who threw Landen from the balcony, received a 19-year sentence, two-thirds of which must be spent in prison, after he pleaded guilty to attempted murder.
According to the post on the GoFundMe page, Landen asks "all the time" why Aranda threw him.
"I tell him, 'Someone must have really treated him bad in his life; and he must not have Jesus in his heart,'" the post read. "Landen agrees and says, 'Yeah, I feel bad for him.'"
