Moorhead police investigate report of gunshots heard

The Moorhead Police Department detained four individuals after receiving a call about reported gunshots Wednesday night. 

According to police, at about 9:53 p.m. they received a call to 400 block of 3rd Avenue South for a report of gunshots heard. 

When officers arrived at the scene, they established and communicated with occupants of the residence. 

Four individuals were detained for questioning. None of which were injured.

A search warrant was executed at the residence and the investigation is on-going. 

No arrests have been made at this time. All those involved were known to each other and there is no threat to the public. 

More information is expected to come out at a later time.
