Apple Valley school helps duck family with shortcut to the lake

Southview Elementary School in Apple Valley continued an ongoing tradition that helps a duck family to the lake.

It’s a tradition that goes back as far as 35 years.

“Our duck family was back again this year in the courtyard and today we helped Mama Duck get her ducklings out. They traveled down the 100 hallway and out the bus doors. Hopefully, they will find their way to the lake. See you next year, Mama Duck!” wrote Southview Elementary School on social media.
