Winona police investigating portable toilet fires

Police in Winona are investigating after multiple city-owned portable toilets were destroyed by fire.

Winona police said, on May 1 at about 4:17 a.m., officers responded to Veterans Park near the Bandshell on a report of two portable toilets on fire. When officers and firefighters arrived, they found three portable toilets fully engulfed by flames.

All three were owned by the city and were determined to be total losses.
