COVID-19 in Minnesota: 13,435 cases, 663 deaths total
State health officials reported 518 new cases of COVID-19 in Minnesota and 25 more deaths on Thursday. A total of 13,435 cases and 663 deaths have been confirmed so far.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, state labs have completed 15,885 tests, and private labs have completed 112,867 tests.
Of the cases, 1,915 total patients have been hospitalized. On Thursday, 498 patients were in the hospital, and 203 were in intensive care.
So far, 8,149 patients are recovering, according to the MDH.
MDH is now reporting that the number of patients who no longer need isolation represents individuals with confirmed COVID-19 who no longer need to self-isolate, including those who have died.

As of Thursday, according to case data from Johns Hopkins University, total COVID-19 cases in the world have amassed to 4,369,410.
Of the total cases, 1,390,764 are in the United States. The data shows 297,491 people have died from the virus in the world and 84,136 have died in the United States.
Globally 1,562,239 are recovering from COVID-19.
