1 taken to hospital after Maplewood shooting

Police say one person was taken to the hospital after a shooting at a Maplewood liquor store Tuesday afternoon.

The Maplewood Police Department says officers were called just before 3:15 p.m. on the report of a shooting at Party Time Liquor on Larpenteur Avenue East.

Responding officers found one victim and provided medical care.

The victim was taken to Regions Hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.
