The Hornets have won three of the past four Class 2A state tournaments, but the one they lost was just last year to the Andover Huskies.
With the 14-0 record this year, the past two seasons Edina is a combined 38-1. That past success puts a target on Edina’s back every time they step on the ice. But, senior Hannah Chorkse, senior Emma Conner, and junior Vivian Jungels all say they take pride in the target.
Head coach Sami Reber also takes pride in the target and is excited to see what this team can do late in the season.
