Woman identified in fatal Minneapolis shooting
The victim who died after a shooting in Minneapolis on Sunday has been identified as 29-year-old Shamso Mohamed Gedi-Abdi of St. Paul.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Gedi-Abdi died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The manner of death is homicide.

Officers were notified of a shooting on the 3200 block of Logan Avenue North just after 6:20 a.m.
Once they arrived, they located Gedi-Abdi in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. Gedi-Abdi was transported to an area hospital, where she later died.
Police said a suspect was arrested Sunday afternoon in connection to the shooting.
