Sheriff's office seeks donations to assist home-bound Ramsey County residents during pandemic

The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office is seeking donations to help assist those who are home-bound in the county during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A release from the office says its "Help Team" has been delivering essential items to those who need assistance for the last six weeks.

The "Help Team" works with local food shelves to deliver groceries, as well as toilet paper, diapers, homemade masks and cleaning supplies.

The sheriff's office asks that the public considers donating the following items:

  • Diapers, baby wipes, formula
  • Cleaning supplies (dish soap, laundry detergent, bar soap, and disinfectants)
  • Small flat screen televisions for placements in homeless shelters to maintain social distancing requirements and for individuals who are homebound
  • Toilet paper, tissue, and paper towels
  • Homemade face masks
  • Canned food goods, peanut butter, and bags of rice

Donations can be made at the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office Water Patrol Station at 5 South Owasso Boulevard in Little Canada from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
