COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 29 new deaths, 463 new cases

Wisconsin health officials on Tuesday announced 29 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,510 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 70 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 26,554.
A total of 567,334 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 463 new cases reported Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, DHS reports that more than 3.21 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 2.2%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 2,140,265 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 1,739,995 had been administered as of Tuesday, and 613,542 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
