Minnesota teen dances his way to the state tournament this weekend

The Eastview High School Lightning Dance Team is rehearsing for the state tournament this weekend.
On the varsity squad is Logan Schommer. He will be the first male athlete to ever compete at the Minnesota State Dance Tournament.
A 2019 federal court ruling opened up Minnesota dance team competitions to male athletes.
"I think it’s an honor, but at the same time I’m just another dancer on another team trying to win a championship," Schommer said.
The state tournament is at Edina High School this Saturday.
