MPRB unveils 2 concepts to replace Bde Maka Ska pavilion
Thursday, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) published two draft site concepts to possibly replace Bde Maka Ska pavilion, which burned down in 2019.
Three online open houses are scheduled for people to ask questions about the project. Those are on March 23, March 24 and March 29.
After the public feedback period closes, staff will present a single concept to MPRB commissioners this summer and will be adjusted to reflect a proposed budget.
Construction is expected to begin in 2022 with concessions resuming in 2023.
