COVID-19 in Wisconsin: No new deaths, 502 new cases

Wisconsin health officials on Thursday announced no new deaths related to COVID-19, keeping the state’s total at 6,524 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 40 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 26,670.
A total of 568,352 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 502 new cases reported Thursday.

As of Thursday, DHS reports that more than 3.22 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 2%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 2,140,265 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 1,837,885 had been administered as of Thursday, and 647,108 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
