No. 8 Cretin-Derham Hall boys hockey skates past Park Cottage Grove

The No. 8 Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders boys hockey team defeated the Park Cottage Grove Wolfpack 6-2 on Thursday evening at the Charles M. Schulz-Highland Arena.

In the first, Jake Sondreal kicked things off for the Raiders when he stole the puck and scored on a breakaway to make it 1-0 with just under eight minutes remaining in the first period.
Park Cottage Grove would answer not even a minute later when Logan Porter scored to tie the game at 1-1 with seven minutes left.
But, Cretin-Derham Hall would answer back late in the first when Colton Jamieson scored for the Raiders to make it 2-1 with 0:00 remaining in the period.
In the second period, Sondreal again scored for Cretin-Derham Hall, this time on a power play, making it 3-1 Raiders with 000:0000 left in the period.
The Raiders broke the game open in the third period. The scoring started when Attila Lippai made it 4-1 with 15:43 left in the game. Then, Gabe Rasmussen scored to make it 5-1 Raiders with 11:57 remaining. Rasmussen then made it 6-1 Raiders just a short while later.
The Wolfpack would add a goal to make it a 6-2 final.
