Minneapolis Police said, at about 10:30 p.m. on April 25, video surveillance at 179 Irving Avenue N. shows a person use a hand-held, garden-style torch to ignite a bale of packaged, recycled materials. The fire then spread to other bales and resulted in a $10,000 loss to Pioneer Paper.
Police said three white men in their 20s or early 30s were seen earlier, one of whom was seen carrying a similar torch near Oliver and 1st 1/2 avenues.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Minneapolis Arson Desk at 612-673-3070. Information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a reward.
