Blaine police investigating after van modified for wheelchair access stolen

A van modified for wheelchair access was stolen from an underground parking garage in Blaine this week.

The Blaine Police Department stated suspects entered the underground garage along the 12600 block of Central Avenue between the hours of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

The stolen vehicle was a 2007 Maroon Toyota Sienna van, with a Minnesota registration of BGN002, police said. The van had been modified with a side ramp for wheelchair access.

Investigators are currently analyzing surveillance video for possible information on the theft.
