3 juveniles suffer gunshot wounds in Minneapolis
Three juveniles were found suffering from injuries after reports of shots fired Friday night, according to Minneapolis Police Department.
At 10:29 p.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Emerson Avenue N. on a ShotSpotter activation and numerous 911 calls of shots heard in the area.
Officers were flagged down and told that a juvenile male had been shot and was sitting off to the side of a residence. Officers called for paramedics and located the victim.
According to police, the victim suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was transported to North Memorial Medical Center.
While other officers were searching for additional victims or suspects, they were advised that two more individuals showed up at North Memorial via private transport, both with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
All three victims are juveniles, according to police.
Investigators responded to the scene and worked on identifying suspects, as well as the reason why people were in the area.
