Hennepin County announces preparedness plan to bring back employees

The Hennepin County Board of Commissioners has approved a COVID-19 preparedness plan that will allow the county to bring staff back to physical locations. 

According to the county, the plan will require employees to do self-screening at home before coming into work.

The plan will also require that employees and visitors wear masks in all county facilities. 

The mask requirement will take effect Thursday. Other plans will be put into effect May 25.
