COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 528 new cases, 14 new deaths
Wisconsin health officials reported 528 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, bringing the state’s total to 13,413 cases.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported 14 new COVID-19 deaths, increasing the state’s total to 481.
The DHS said, as of Wednesday, 154,300 people have tested negative.
Of all cases in Wisconsin, 2,161 have required hospitalization, which is 16%. Meanwhile, 7,728 people are recovering and are no longer in isolation, which accounts for 58% of all cases.
Milwaukee County continues to be hit hardest by COVID-19 in Wisconsin, accounting for 5,373 cases and 265 deaths, as of Wednesday.
