UPDATE: Minneapolis Police confirm shooter in East Phillips Park

Minneapolis Police confirm to KSTP a shooting occurred at East Phillips Park and the shooter is a white supremacist, according to the caller. Police add there were no squads immediately available to respond to the shooting, with 58 911 calls pending at the time. Police have not verified the report that the shooter is a white supremacist.
UPDATE 12:45 a.m.
Minneapolis Police said a person with a weapon who tried to flee police near Pillsbury Avenue and Lake Street nearly hit officers with a vehicle. Officers were able to set up a perimeter, locate the vehicle and arrest four suspects. A gun was also recovered.

The Minneapolis Police Department says around 11 p.m. while on patrol near the 1400 block of Lake Street, officers encountered three suspects. One of the suspects reportedly shot at officers. All suspects were taken into custody.

UPDATE 10:43 p.m.
The Minneapolis Police Department has warned the public about multiple developments in the city.
According to police, the roof of a shopping mall was on fire near the 3000 block of Nicollet. The department said Minneapolis fire is responding with support of the National Guard.

Police also reported that a group was westbound on Lake Street at 28th Avenue throwing nails on the ground.
UPDATE 10:08 p.m.
The St. Paul Police Department said officer have been busy stopping several vehicles driving around the city without license plates. Once stopped, officers say the drivers run out of their vehicles.

The St. Paul Police Department reported it worked to clear about 1,000 people from the area of the Lake Street bridge. Officers deployed gas and less-lethal rounds.
