U of M summer term classes to be conducted using 'alternative instruction'

In a message to the University of Minnesota community, President Joan Gabel announced that courses during the upcoming summer term would be administered using 'alternative instruction' due to continued COVID-19 concerns. 

Because of the pandemic, the university moved all of its instruction online for the spring semester.

Gabel said in most cases there will be no significant change. 

Each campus in the university system is expected to announce its plans for the summer term sometime this week, according to Gabel.
