MDH awards $50 million in emergency grants to health care organizations
Wednesday, the Minnesota Department of Health announced it has awarded $50 million in grants to 350 health care organizations throughout the state in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a news release from MDH, the grant money is being sent to a number of providers, including ambulance services, health care clinics, tribal health organizations, pharmacies, hospitals, assisted living facilities and health systems.

The funding is mostly used to cover staff costs, equipment and supplies.

MDH also said it will soon begin taking applications for the $150 million the Legislature approved to help providers.
